Hot Rod Alley

New to KickDown for 2020, is Hot Rod Alley, a curated hot rod show focused on vehicles 1962 and earlier. Cars and trucks will be on display at Louisville Turners main corridor which stretches from the main parking area to the Lounge and bowling alley located riverside.

Submission Process

  • Make sure your vehicle is 1962 or older.

  • Registration will take place at the merchandise booth when you arrive at the show
  • You will need a general admission ticket for the show, which you can purchase in advance or day of show.

Guidelines

Kentucky Kick Down's Hot Rod Alley is open to all makes of vehicles that are 1962 and older. Registration will take place at the merchandise booth after you have parked your vehicle. General admission purchased separately.

Vehilces must be on site and parked in place by 10:00AM Saturday and Sunday morning. You may leave as early as 6:00PM each day, or you can leave your vehicle for the duration. Anyone who wishes to arrive and display on Friday would need to do so before 3:00PM.

There will be a trophy awarded for the Best in Show. You must be present to win.

All awards are based on the judges discretion and their word is final.

Entry Details

  • The festival runs Friday-Sunday at Louisville Turners (More Info).
  • No trailers or support vehicles will be allowed in the show space during the event. You may arrive between 2:00-3:00PM on Friday to unload in the show space or you will be directed to the parking lot, where you can unload and drive your vehicle in. Same rules for removal to protect the safety of all attendees.
  • Judging takes place Saturday between 3-6pm.
  • Enter at the main entrance off of River Road and pull up to the admission gate.
  • Present your ticket, or pay $20-30 day of and you will be given a wristband and a registration ticket.
  • Proceed to a marshal in a KickDown staff shirt that will direct you where to park.
  • Proceed to the merchandise booth to register and get your vehicle number/magnet.

Terms and Conditions

Each entry will receive a vehicle number/magnet, a chance at an award, and admittance of one vehicle. Due to the high demand for parking HOLDING SPACES IS NOT PERMITTED.

All drivers must be licensed to drive and have proper liability insurance. NO OUTSIDE ALCOHOL IS ALLOWED ON THE PROPERTY, BURNOUTS in designated area only. KickDown is rain or shine!
